Family Programs

We understand that the entire family needs support and tools  to have honest and fulfilling relationships with people who have mental illness or addictions.

We have listened and Cool Family Solutions (CFS) developed 7 home study modules . Included in the modules is information about the topic, activities, and the ease of implementing the ideas to practice what you have learned. CFS wants your feedback since this is a new initiative so please reach out if there are other topics you would like to see. Topics include: managing anxiety, letting go, setting boundaries and more! Family First Responder

Family First Responder addresses how the family can have a voice in the care of their loved one – families are scared of what they deal with when having a family member in the hospital, or loved one doesn’t believe there is an issue, or family member exiting the hospital. The family responder provides those quick tips of key communication skills to engage all family members in a conversation to share their concerns and facts of what is happening. The family learn how to present information to professionals such as psychiatrists “what is happening at home”. This provides the family a direct line to further help to manage the emotional turbulence and overwhelming challenges that need adjusting to have the overall lasting effect of success for all family members.
